Love Thy Neighbor — All Thousands of Them
Located two miles from downtown Dayton, our 423-acre campus is bordered by a quiet neighborhood — the ideal surrounding for a residential university.
Approximately 80 percent of our students live on campus and in the student neighborhood — a one-of-a-kind community of students living side by side in porch-clad houses.
And with its vast dining options and top-notch facilities, the University has received more than eight national awards for excellence in college dining since 2010.

At UD, front porches symbolize community. You'll see students gathering on the many porches throughout the student neighborhood.
